LSS OF THE DAY: "WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE" PERFORMED BY CHRIS RICHARDSON ON AMERICAN IDOL

*sigh* Here I go again.

I missed my blog! It feels good to be blogging again. I'm in my Tita's house in Fairview right now; I didn't feel like heading home so I decided to stay here instead. It took me more than an hour to find a way to get here because all the buses, taxis and jeepneys were full and the traffic was horrible! When I did get on a bus, I had to sit at the very end because that was the only seat available; better that than standing up.

The past few days have been interesting (I keep on saying that, huh?). When I woke up on Wednesday morning, my knees hurt like hell. I couldn't talk straight and I had a bit of difficulty getting down from my top-bunk (double-deck, remember?) and a whole lot more trouble in going down the stairs, and up again. Darn Handball. Oi.

By the way, something happened during our Psychology class on Tuesday. Our agreement with our professor was that nobody should go out of the classroom just to buy food before she comes in (our class with her is from 4-5:30, so it's kinda expected that we're pretty hungry at that time). And, as always, some of my classmates, being the "forgetful" people that they are, went out anyway. When she came in and saw that almost half of the class was missing, she was furious. She told the class president to pass a piece of paper around and sign our names as proof that we agreed to what she said about just bringing-food-instead-of-going-out-thing. We couldn't believe our ears; why on earth would we do that? I mean, come on! Get real. Even if we do sign that doesn't really mean that that's it. So anyway, while the paper was going around (I remember that I saw some of the faces of my classmates while they signed it; it was hilarious!) all of us were quiet. Then, out of the blue, our professor said, "CLASS OFFICERS, TAKE THE ORDERS OF YOUR CLASSMATES AND BUY FROM THE CARPARK. EITHER MCDONALD'S OR KFC WOULD BE MUCH BETTER SINCE IT'S NEAR". At first we all thought it was a joke; but then she said it again and our class officers jumped up and started taking our orders. Seriously! They left a few minutes later and our professor said that we all looked so tired and stuff like that so she allowed it, but just this once. When they came back with the food, we ate while she was discussing our latest lecture. That was a first

Okay, back to Wednesday...

After I pain-stakingly took a bath and dressed up, I went to Lovers Lane in UST because I needed to study for our quiz in English later that day. On my way there, I ran into one of my friends from high school, Marlon Molano. That was the first time I ever saw him since school started; he's first year taking up Med-Tech. The moment I saw him, I suddenly remembered something; I had a dream about him the night before. I didn't say it to him of course because even I don't want to remember what happened. We only talked for a few minutes 'coz he just had his P.E. and he looked exhausted. So we parted ways and I continued on to Lovers Lane.

Once there, I sat at a very nice spot facing the Main Building. I even took a few pictures while I was just sitting there. I'll upload them some other time.

On Thursday, the usual laugh-trip with our Philosophy professor. And it started raining. I always tell other people never to leave home without an umbrella.

And today, well, we had a pretty long day. Our professor in Rizal didn't show up, we did this thing for the guidance office during English and played this really cool game (GO CIRCLES!), had a quiz in Finance and instead of Theology, we went to the College of Fine Arts and Design (CFAD for short) and watched this exhibit from the artist Joey Velasco. I even bought two of his paintings (copies, of course) and I also had him autograph both of them. Here's one:

The man is a GENIUS. His works are so good!

I am getting addicted to the movie, RENT. You guys gotta watch it. The songs are really nice.

MARK PAOLO ANIDO - good with PhotoShop, and good with Premiere. Dude, I kneel at your feet. The mix you did (Spartan Dance Song) was brilliant. Can I marry your brain?

I'm not happy anymore. I know the reason. But I'm still in denial. Help me get through this, please. Oh, the pains of growing up. I want to drown my misery and shut off the voices that resound in my head when everything's quiet. Maybe that's why I've been making Tony work so hard for the past few days. I don't like the quiet anymore; that's when THEY start making noise. Shut the hell up!

Okay, I will now answer other people's tags.

LSS OF THE DAY: "SHE'S LEAVING HOME" PERFORMED BY CARRIE UNDERWOOD IN THE AMERICAN IDOL FINALE

I got the video of the Sgt. Pepper Tribute on Tony. And I watch it every day. Sorry guys, I'm not gonna stop it.

HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY, BIRTHDAY TO
FIONA MEGAN DECANO

Hi Ninong Hans!

LOVE YOU, VATTER!

He's not here at the moment but I e-mail him as much as I can. And text, of course.

It's so hot! Now I really can't tell which is hotter; my dorm or Dagupan. At least here in Dagupan I have my own electric fan and I could join my brother and sister in their air-conditioned room. Not like there; don't get me started.

I'm so exhausted. It's amazing what that darn 1-7 class can do to my body; I get headaches a lot, my eyes feel so droopy and my whole body feels like I got drained of every drop of my blood. Oh well. I can't do anything about that anymore. And I have to put up with it for a whole school year; and its just going to get worse.

I'm sleeping over at Mom's house tonight and I'm leaving for Manila tomorrow morning. I'm not sure when I'll be coming back to Dagupan. We'll see.

I'm still not done with my homework

To Denise Hazelyn Maramba: Your very welcome. I'll let you know ASAP if I found them. Hahaha!

I'm out!

LSS OF THE DAY: "I NEED TO KNOW" PERFORMED BY BLAKE LEWIS

Don't ask.

We just came back from Manila a few hours ago. We arrived there last night and we stayed at my cousin's condo in Gilmore; really swanky. Spent the whole night talking, watching T.V. and eating popcorn. Then I showed my cousin some the videos I downloaded on Tony; we loved watching "The Landlord" and scenes from "Who's Line Is It Anyway?". We stayed up pretty late but we were used to it; I wish I could go to those places someday, especially Rome.

We left her condo around past or before 9 and we headed straight to UST so we could drop off some of my stuff in the dorm. It's on Dapitan street now; my former dorm was in Lacson. I know that my Dad and my sister didn't like it very much, but I did; I'm the one staying there, not them. And besides, he should be thankful that I found a cheap dorm instead of the other oh-so-expensive ones that look like hotels; one of my cousins is staying in one of those, and he became too lazy to even go to school. And the street where I'm staying in now is closer to my building and the library. While we were there, my borther started crying! Apparently, he thought that I was going to stay there for the rest of the summer and not come home anymore; and he found out that I won't be coming home on weekends and that I won't be home for his birthday in June, so we was pretty upset about it. I'm really gonna miss him when I get back to Manila.

After we unloaded my stuff, we went to this other dorm which was really nice but the price was ridicuously high and there were no more available slots. So, we went to SM San Lazaro because my Dad wanted to buy new shoes. Me, my sister and my brother stayed in Starbucks while he did his "shoe-hunting".

THEY SPELLED MY NAME WRONG!!!

THIS WAS IN THEIR BATHROOM. IT SAYS THAT YOU HAVE TO WASH, RINSE AND DRY YOUR HANDS BEFORE YOU CAN TURN OFF THE WATER. WHAT THE?!

But the people there were nice.

Then we went to Fairview to my Tita Marissa's house to get one of her puppies. Her dog, Pepper, gave birth on APRIL 12, so me and the puppies have the same birthday!. They're MAJOR dog-lovers.

WE GOT ONE OF THESE PUPPIES. SO CUTE!!

THIS IS MY COUSIN'S DOG, HILARY. SHE'S HALF-PEKINGESE AND HALF-DASCHUND.

ANOTHER ONE OF THIER PUPPIES, BUT NOT FROM THE SAME MOTHER(?).

MY COUSIN, MAUI AND HER MOM, TITA MARISSA

We decided to name the puppy, Roxy. Cute, huh?

One of my friends made a request that I'll make a post about "My Favorite Things", and I agreed. I'll start working on it now and I'll post it ASAP.

I'm still tired. Post again tomorrow!.

LSS OF THE DAY: "I'LL STAND BY YOU" PERFORMED BY CARRIE UNDERWOOD ON THE AMERICAN IDOL FINALE

The show's over, so give me a break.

Jordin Sparks won this year's American Idol; she's the youngest winner on the show, she's just 17 and but she'll be turning 18 in December. So, I'm eight months older than her I'm kinda disappointed because I wanted Blake to win, but hey, he'll be a big star, too no matter what. I like Blake because he's unique; NOBODY can beat-box like him; he's really the best. Jordin sort of reminded me of Katharine McPhee from last season; why not vote a different Idol for a change? But that's just me; I'm not the one voting anyway. But she deserved it; she's come a long way and she really sang her heart out. Congrats to her! I know we'll be seeing a lot of her for awhile. The African Children's Choir performance was so adorable!!. I forgot to mention that Chris Daughtry performed on last night's show; he was the bomb!

WINNER OF AMERICAN IDOL 2007, JORDIN SPARKS

Their performances were great. Gladys Knight, Smokey Robinson, Tony Bennet, Bette Midler were just some of the celebrities that performed; even the past Idol winners, Kelly Clarkson, Ruben Studdard, Carrie Underwood and *groan* Taylor Hicks were there. I wish that they didn't let Sanjaya perform; he was a total mess! Even Taylor did better than him! I enjoyed watching the show; but I like last year's finale better. They went "old school" this time because of their special guests. I really missed Phil and Chris. Good thing they were there. The "Golden Idol" thing was really funny!

I'm already excited for next year! Hahahaha!

I had a really uncomfortable experience awhile ago. As I walked out of the gate of the house, an empty tricycle passed by but doubled back because I hailed him. After I tol the driver where I was going, he immediately said, "Miss, you're looking very beautiful today". I pretended not to hear him when he said that. I don't take compliments very seriously because I can't really tell if they were really sincere or if they were just saying it to flatter someone. Then as I got off, I heard him say "I'll visit you at your house one of these days"; again, I pretended not to hear him. I hate it when a complete stranger does that.

  • I read this in the UST group on Multiply:

Wow. Lots of incoming freshmen this year. Congratulations, Welcome, watch out for hold-uppers, ALWAYS bring an umbrella, and the best of luck during floods. *high five*

    TIPS:
*There will be no more P.E. on the first week; it's pretty obvious that whoever's wearing a P.E. uniform at that time is still a freshie
*You will only attend Mass on the first day and the professors are almost always absent
*Shout "GUARD!!!" with all your might when someone asks you where Quiapo is or you can just run as fast as you can.
*Attend the freshmen orientation to remove your "innocence".
*If someone shows their registration form in the building is a freshie.
*Those who go around with a group (probably 5 or more) are freshmen.
*The combo chicken in LOPEZ in P. Noval is delicious.

I gotta say, I did almost every single one of those things last school year; except the last one. Everyone keeps saying that the food in LOPEZ is really good, but I never got the chance to eat there because its always full of people. The UST Growling Tigers eat are their well-known patrons; who knows? I might be sitting next to Dylan Ababou and never even notice.

MY BROTHER, RAMON

AWWWW SOOOOOOOOOO CUTE!!

I'll try to make a longer post tomorrow. I'm tired.
