LSS OF THE DAY: "ZERO TO HERO: FROM DISNEY'S HERCULES
Disney, Disney, Disney!
.Me and my sister, Patsy, went to Manila two days ago; I, to enroll and she, to see our Tita and our cousins. And to get the autographed picture of Lea Salonga from her
; my Tita just came back from New York and she's bestfriends with Lea so they met up before she went on one of her shows.Enrollment was HELL. It was so hot! But the worst part was when we were inside the Seminary Gym that really got me riled up; first we were on the wrong line (two times!!), the people were so slow in processing the data and the guards weren't very helpful when we asked for information. Very frustrating!
After almost three hours of standing, we were finally done; last year's enrollment was faster. When we got out of the Gym, we sat at the benches near the gym so rest; Meg and I were wearing very uncomfortable shoes so we ahd Janel buy us some slippers from the over-pass. Meg and I were so happy when we got our shoes off!I met with Pats, Tita Steffi and her kids, I changed clothes (we had to wear our uniform in enrolling; stupid, right?), and we were off to Glorietta in Makati. We left the kids at a play center while the rest of us went around; we also ate in Sugarhouse. I had a blueberry chessecake (you can never go wrong with that
) while Pats and Tita Steffi each had a different kind of chocolate cake. It's really fun talking to Tita Steffi; she's cool
. Then we went around some more, and bought a few stuff for our over-night stay at their house. That was kinda last-minute because Tita Steffi offered for us to stay with them that day so we weren't able to bring any extra clothes and the stuff that we needed.After Glorietta, we went to their house in Dasmarinas (pronounced, DASMARINYAS) and rested. Afterwards we went to the Manila Polo Club for dinner. Then we went to Krispy Kremes for dessert. Deeeelicious! It has been two years since I last ate it so it feels really, really good to munch on those heavenly-tasting donuts again
. Then we went around the Fort before heading home.We woke up pretty early yesterday because we thought that we were going to leave early for the bus station; but the driver that Tita Steffi hired didn't show up so she had to call another driver. And he took the longest time in going there so we killed time by talking, eating (I just noticed that when we're with Tita Steffi, everybody gets suddenly hungry) and surfing the net. They had a garage sale that morning so it was pretty fun looking at the people buy and haggle over the stuff; earlier that day, Tita Steffi and Tito Jay were looking through their kids' stuff to see which ones were okay to sell. It didn't help that their eldest son, Jaime was there over-seeing their By the time that Tita Steffis' second driver was there, so was the first driver! So Tita Steffi had to send back the first driver, which was really embarassing. After awhile, we left to have an early lunch in this place called "Big Apple Pizza" near their house. The pizza slices were huge! Exactly the way I remembered it to be when I was in New York. We weent back home after that, and the driver took me and Pats to the bus station in Pasay. And off we went to Dagupan!
The traffic in Urdaneta was terrible and we were shivering inside the bus from the cold; it was raining that time. At least we got home safely
.tita Steffi told us some pretty funny stories about her kids, especially her youngest daughter, Sofia. She said that there was this one time when they were in this toy store in New York and she wanted this one toy but Tita Steffi wouldn't buy it for her; Sofia looked at her and said, "I'm gonna throw you off the window, Mommy". Hahaha!
. And when we were in the car, Jaime was playign this game with Sofia where he would ask her these ridiculous stuff like, "Sofia, would you rather jump off a building or love Mommy?"; Sofia always answered the crazy thing. Of course, Tita Steffi would act all hurt and Jaime wouldn't stop until she says "Love Mommy". We finally got her to say that when Jaime said, "Would you rather love Mommy or love Mommy?". Good one, Jaime!.Here are just some of the picturesI took while we were there.

TUESDAY AND THURSDAY:
1:00-2:30 - PHILOSOPHY 3A (TWO Philosophy subjects?! What the hell?!)
2:30-4:00 - NS 101 (I have no idea what that means)
4:00-5:30 - PSYCHOLOGY 213 (Please don't let it be Professor Neurotic-Psychotic)
5:30-7:00 - HISTORY 102 (I hope it's still Caloy; if he's not mad at us anymore)

7:00-9:00 - TUESDAY - HANDBALL
So, I'm at 11 in the morning to 3 in the afternoon on MWF, and 1 in the afternoon to 7 at night on TTH; and we're in the same classroom as last year! Poor us
