Again?!

I didn't update last night because I was in Manila. I'm back in Dagupan now-- wait, let's start from the beginning.

Yesterday, my sister and I accompanied our aunt to go campaigining. We had lunch first in Matutina's in Bonuan before heading to Binloc, where we were suposed to meet everyone else. Naturally, we all pigged-out 'coz they serve the best sinigang and barbeque in town. All our bellies started bulging and we took our time in getting back to the car. Once we were in Binloc, we met up with Lolo Joe, rested awhile (his whole house in airconditined; heaven!), ate some more (peanuts only, and drank Coke, too) and we joined the motorcade going to Calasiao. It was cool when the police car in front of the procession blared their sirens and everybody just moved out of the way; the normal ride would have taken us about 30-plus minutes, but we got there in less than 10. Now THAT was cool. Hahaha:) When we got to place where we were gonna campaign, we just stood at one side and clapped whenever the people started to clap. I can't believe that Lolo Joe can dance! I got a bit worried that his knees might give way; he's not as young as he used to be. He just turned 70 last December!

And he even said that I was his favorite grandchild. Ooh, my sister got so mad when she heard it. Hahaha!:)

After the campaign, we went home. Tita Marissa stayed behind because she was leaving for Manila that same night with one of her friends. Then I realized that I was going to Manila the next day so I called her and asked if I could come along. She asked her friend, Tito Fernando and he agreed. I'm pretty good at rush-packing; it's my specialty:) So I just put whatever I needed in a bag, freshened up a bit and we were off in less than fifteen minutes.

We left for Manila around 8:20 p.m. While we were in the car, we watched a documentary called "Meeting Osama Bin Laden" and the movie, "We Were Soldiers". Loved them:) We arrived in Manila around past 12mn. Not bad. I took a quick shower before going to bed.

I woke up pretty early the next day since my objective in going to Manila in the first place was to go dorm-hunting. I had a really bad headache the moment I opened my eyes. I guess I lacked sleep or maybe it was because of the heat. I went downstairs, had breakfast and I rode with my aunt and uncle. I took a taxi the rest of the way because they had to get to an appointment. Once I got to UST, I went to some of the dorms that my Mom checked out the day before. When I was done, I sat down and had a snack while waiting for my cousin, Pao.

We met up and neither of us could believe that its been two years since we last saw each other. He hasn't changed much. It was nice talking to him, you know, catching up with each other's lives. After that he accompanied me in looking for a dorm. And we found one! Yay for us! It's sort of like a house that they turned into a dorm; pretty cozy, spacious, and most of all, the rent is very reasonable.

When we signed the deal, Pao and I went to Gateway and had a late lunch. We ate in Gloria Maris, his treat:) Then we paretd ways; he back to where he was staying, and me to the bus station. I miss him already:)

So, I arrived in Dagupan around past 9p.m. I'm still tired and I'm not feeling very well.

I'll add some more stuff tomorrow. I'm starting to get sleepy.
