LSS OF THE DAY: "I STAND ALONE" (MULTI-LANGUAGE) FROM THE MOVIE, "QUEST FOR CAMELOT"
I love this song. I love the English version, (Barry White's voice is so dreamy) but then when I saw the video of that one on YouTube, and listened to it of course, I fell in love with all the languages. Various singers sang it in Portuguese, English, Hebrew, Swedish, Dutch, Spanish, French, Icelandic, German, Swedish and Italian. All were great, but I wasn't feeling the Spanish version.
I watched the graduation of the seniors yesterday. Seeing them climb up the stage and recieve their medals and certificates reminded me of my graduation last year. Theirs was in the morning; ours last year was in the late afternoon until early evening. It was pretty tiring, but we still had fun. I wore heels that were 4 inches high, a BIG mistake. I remember that I had to coach my Mom and Dad on their positions on climbing the stage; Mom on my right, Dad on my left. My sister got a good laugh when I told her; it's not everyday that I get to boss my parents around and I took advantage of that. Hehehe:) And I had to divide my medals between them so they could put them around my neck. The one thing that I'll never forget about that day was that we used one of my compositions as one of the graduation songs. I'm really proud of that. Hay. Oh well. That's over.
Their graduation was fun. I had fun watching them. When it was over, I talked to all of my friends and congratulated them. I was pretty clost to all of them, despite the one-year age gap. While I was talking to them, I kept on thinking to myself, "Was this the person I met in grade school?". I can't believe how fast time flies. I'm really proud of them for making it that far. And they know that we're always here for them when they need help. I really love them all:) Their all my brothers and sisters and I couldn't be more proud of them:)
I uploaded the pictures from yesterday. Their in my Multipy. http://lauredilian.multiply.com
I wonder what I'm gonna do today. Watch T.V., eat, sleep, text, read. That's basically my agenda for the whole summer. I'm planning to go to the gym for maybe 3 times a week, but I still have to ask Mom. My arms are getting bigger. Darnit.
I'll try to update tonight. That is, if my Dad doesn't hog the computer like he did last night.
'Til here y'all:)
