LSS OF THE DAY: "I WILL SING FOREVER" BY BUKAS-PALAD
I'm just gonna do a quick re-cap. Hehehehehe:)
SEPTEMBER 4:
We defended that darn Mandala Doctrine thing by Kautilya. To my immense surprise, everything went okay. I even think that Professor Docor Co liked it. Yippee!:) We are so hating our professor in Literature right now. I can't explain everything. It's too complicated. All I can say is, I HATE HER. I used to like her, well all of us used to like her, but now we all resent her.
Oh yeah, we transferred to room 102 coz our darn aircon's still not working. It felt good to be back in an air-conditioned room. Hehehehehe:)
We did this group activity in English where we would describe our memento (Professor Shimamoto claimed that she told us about this earlier but she didn't mention anything about it; must be getting old) to our group mates and they'll guess it. I was in group 9 and I was with Ances, Cholo and Jason. We had fun in guessing each other's memento. I'll never forget the way Jason described his. I won't mention it here coz I know that a lot of people will think it to be "otherwise". Clue: green-minded people will think that it's "something" when it really isn't. Hehehehehe:) My memento was the card my Tito gave me last last summer when I went to the States. It was a red card with a Biblical message from 1C0rinthians 13; 4-8. The verse that begins with "Love is patient, love is kind..."
SEPTEMBER 5:
I gotta admit, I'm beginning to like Economics now. We enjoy the discussions Ptofessor Ostacio prepares for us:) Professor Peppin was absent. I hope she's okay. I miss her stories already.
SEPTEMBER 6:
Professor Doctor Co gave us a re-cap of the stuff we learned in our previous lesson. When he asked a certain question, a few of my classmates answered it but he said that their answers were wrong. I raised my hand, he called me, and I recited my answer. While I was answering his question, he was resting his head on his hands and he was nodding his head, which I took as a good sign. He then asked me for my class number and he gave me extra points. Yehey!:)
We did this "observation activity" in English. We were told to observe a person, a pair or a group of persons doing something and we'll take down notes about them. Our group (same group with Ances, Cholo and Jason) observed this guy, maintenance, as he was fixing the bulletin board. Cholo and I compared notes while we were doing this and we noticed a lot of stuff. We both laughed when part of the instructions given to us were, "Avoid making fun of your subject". Uhhh. Okay. Hehehehehehe:) We observed a lot of stuff about the guy like:
- He is a dark, middle-aged man.
- He is going bald; he's got a shiny patch on his forhead where his hair used to be.
- He's wearing a gray polo shirt, pants and sneakers.
- He's sawing a piece of metal (noisily, of course)
- He keeps on taking measurements of the bulletin board.
- He has a Seiko watch on his left hand (Cholo noticed this one)
- He started to sweat after a while.
- When a professor passed by and greeted him, we noticed that he had 2 missing front teeth.
SEPTEMBER 7:
I went to school around 7:20 or something. Professor Bangaoil said that she wouldn't meet us so we were allowed to come to school at 8:30 for our next class. When I got to my classroom, only a few of my classmates we there. Well, it was still early anyway. Then we had a short discussion with Professor Pabs, and Waki and I got excused from Economics because we had to sing for the opening of the Marian Exhibit on the 2nd floor lobby. PAX ROMANA. Hehehehehe:) We goofed around a little bit with Ate Reg, Kuya Sherwin and Kuya Paolo. Then it was time to get down to business; the priest came and we took our positions near the entrance of the exhibit. We sang the opening hymn (no glitches, thank goodness!), the Dean and the Assistant Dean cut the ribbon, took pictures {of course, we were in them too:)} and we ate in the Dean's office. Could you believe that? We ate with the Dean! We ate hamburgers, pizza and we drank Funchum. One of the sacristans looked a lot like Rainier Festejo. Striking resemblance. I showed Waki Rainier's picture and even her eyes widened. Hehehehe:) Got aquainted with the other Paxies; the assistant Dean even gave us these cards with Mother Mary's picture on it. It was really nice of her:) Then Waki and I went back to the classroom; Professor Peppin still wasn't there so we just waited until 5 minutes to 12 so we could lead the Angelus in the PA. At 12:15, we went home. Professor Peppin didn't show up.
I'm hungry. The noodles I was eating spilled on my bed so I had to clean it up before I went here. Hay. Oh well.
My problems now are:
~~my reaction paper in History (thank goodness it's the LAST one!)
~~quiz in Philosophy tomorrow;
~~that darn term paper in Philosophy! I have absolutely no clue on what to do! And I have to submit it next Friday! God help me!!!
